By accessing or using BarkLocal at barklocal.co ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What BarkLocal is
BarkLocal is a directory of dog-friendly places across the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. Listing information is sourced from public data providers including Google Places and is supplemented with our own research. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.
Always verify hours, policies, and dog-friendliness directly with a business before visiting. Policies change and our data may not reflect recent updates.
3. Use of the site
You may use BarkLocal for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download listing data
- Use the Site to build a competing directory or database
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's infrastructure or security
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content via any submission forms
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
4. Listing accuracy
BarkLocal makes reasonable efforts to keep listing information accurate but makes no warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on the Site. Business hours, pet policies, and amenities are subject to change without notice.

5. User submissions
If you submit a listing or correction through BarkLocal, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Site. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submitted content at our discretion.
6. Third-party links and advertising
BarkLocal may display advertisements served by third parties including Google AdSense, and may contain affiliate links. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites or the products and services they offer. Affiliate relationships are disclosed where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
The BarkLocal name, logo, and original content on the Site are owned by BarkLocal and may not be reproduced without permission. Listing data sourced from third parties remains subject to those parties' terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. BarkLocal does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarkLocal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to reliance on listing information that proves inaccurate.
