Parking can get tight on sunny weekends, so I usually try to arrive before 3 PM or after 6 PM for a more relaxed experience. Street parking lines the area, though there's also a lot nearby. Bring water for your dog—they don't always have bowls readily available, so carrying a collapsible one is smart, especially if you're planning to stay a couple hours. The kitchen serves solid pub food, so you can grab something to eat while your dog settles into the laid-back atmosphere.

I love pairing a Gasworks visit with a trip to nearby A Sulli's Dog Park, which is just a short drive away. Your dog can burn off some energy in the off-leash area, and then you can head to the brewery for some well-deserved relaxation. If you've got time for a bigger outing, Warren G. Magnuson Park is also close by and offers even more room to roam before settling in for drinks.

The patio really is the highlight here—it's where the magic happens. On clear days, there's nothing quite like sitting outside with a cold beer, good company, and a happy dog at your feet. Even when it's overcast (which is often), the breeze off the water keeps things pleasant.
