The park's waterfront setting means you'll often catch a nice breeze off the water, which is especially refreshing on warmer days.

When you arrive, parking is readily available nearby, and I'd recommend visiting during weekday mornings or late afternoons to avoid the weekend crowds. The trails here are excellent for dogs of various energy levels—some sections are gentle and straightforward, while others offer more challenging terrain if your pup needs to really work those legs. Just keep an eye out for other visitors, particularly cyclists, especially on the main pathway.

Bring plenty of water, even if it's a mild day, since the trails can be longer than they initially appear.
